  Prescott, April 26th, Scott Moran in the ex LCE VARIS CYBER Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI. Capable of running with 1200hp (depending what you read) this started life in Japan and built by Varis Asso Cyber, and is a Japanese Time Attack legend and former 7-time lap record holder at Tsukuba, the holy ground of Time Attack. From Japan, custodianship transferred to UK/Cyprus-based racer Pani Pastou in 2013, and his team at LCE Performance. After winning, well, completely dominating, the 2014 Time Attack Championship, splitting their time between Cyprus and the UK, LCE gave it a total nut and bolt rebuild. The Highlights include: A Cyber Evo/Norris-built 2.0L with a Garrett GTX4088 engine, a Samsonas 5-speed sequential gearbox, Tilton triple-plate carbon clutch, Geartronics paddle shift and a carbon prop shaft.   S.F. Edge, whose full name is Selwyn Francis Edge, was a prominent British businessman and racing driver born on March 29, 1868, in Concord, New South Wales, Australia. He is best known for his significant contributions to the British automotive industry and motor racing. Edge was involved in various motorsport events, including winning the Gordon Bennett Cup in 1902 and setting a 24-hour driving record at Brooklands in 1907. He played a crucial role in the early development of the British car industry and was instrumental in promoting motor vehicles in Britain. Edge passed away on February 12, 1940, in Eastbourne, Sussex, England.   Three Imps and a Ginetta G15 took to the hill at the first round of the British and Midland Hillclimb Championship at Prescott Speed Hillclimb over the weekend of 25th and 26th of April.

  Goodwood are celebrating the great Barry Sheene at all three of their main events throughout 2026. As well as some of his 500cc Suzuki and Yamaha Grand Prix bikes, there are some of his earlier bikes, and a few bikes Sheene competed against such as the Wayne Gardener Moriwaki Kawasaki Z1000, a bike and rider combination I saw Barry race against at Donington over 40 years ago.
