"R" - The rarest Nissan 240Z
Nissan produced just over 400 Z432's, the Z car powered by the same 2.0-liter DOHC S20 engine found in the first-generation Skyline GT-R. It was Nissan’s high-performance flagship version of the S30 Fairlady Z, until it wasn't.
Nissan pulled somewhere between 20 and 30 Z432's from the production line, adding an R to it's moniker and developed them into an even more focused racing variant: the Z432R.
These included an FRP bonnet, body panels made from steel 0.2 mm thinner than standard, and lightweight acrylic side and rear windows engraved with the Nissan logo and adding a 100ltr long range fuel tank.
No heater, no radio and fixed race style seats, In total, the 432R shed more than 100 kg compared with the Z432, useful when you hit the tracks.
