Triumph Thruxton 900 efi
I purchased a Triumph Thruxton 900 efi to replace a BMW F800 as my daily ride. I wish I'd done it years ago.

1963 Morini 250 Bialbero
1963, 250cc World Motorcycle Championship, the might of Honda with their jewel like 4 cylinder RC164, were firm favourites and included 62 World Champion Jim Redman amoung the riders.
Japan's Ito, with Luton's finest, Phil Read on Yamaha's, Mike Hailwood riding an MZ, and then Morini, their single cylinder Bialbero with Tarquinio Provini.
Provini won the first two races, taking 4 wins overall in a 10 round World Championship. Redman also took 4 wins on his way to winning the championship by just two points.
Hailed the fastest single cylinder 250 racing bike of its day, the DOHC (Bialbero) Morini pushed out 38bhp at 11000rpm and weighed only 108kg.
Morini missed the British round on the Isle of Man, and, thanks to a strike at the factory, the East German round. Of course we'll never know, but, but I'd wager had they competed in all 10 rounds, Morini and Provini would have been World Champions.
Australian magazine Mcnews published Phil Ainsley's photos of Provini's winning bike.
