Tommykaira ZZ - British Built, Japanese designed Elise rival.

Tommykaira is a Japanese tuning company that was founded in 1986 by car importer Yoshikazu Tomita and Formula 2 driver Kikuo Kaira.

The ZZ sports car was designed by Takuya Yura at race car constructor Mooncraft Co. Ltd., and was manufactured by Tomita Auto UK in Norfolk, England.

The ZZ rides on a 94″ wheelbase and features four-wheel double-wishbone independent suspension with adjustable coilovers. Stopping power is provided by Nissan-sourced ventilated disc brakes.

The 2.0-liter Nissan SR20DE inline-four features quad Keihin carburetors, and it sends power to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle.

The cockpit houses fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black upholstery along with a MOMO steering wheel and an exposed shifter linkage. Additional equipment includes four-wheel independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and 16″ Volk Racing TE37 wheels.

ZZ or Elise? If I can get in it, the ZZ.
