The Hillman Imp Family - this weeks obsession.

After my little Fiat 500 obsession, I found myself looking towards all things rear engined, but paused here, at the Imp Family, and for an obsessively long period of time. I even dipped back into some older photos I took of Imps running up Prescott

In my early 20's I was a Mini man, owning two Clubman bodied car's, one a 1275GT, but, I had friends who owned Imps.

Rivals in the showroom and on the race track, the Imp and the Mini Have enjoyed cult like status for many years.

I didn't understand the family hierarchy, Imp, Chamois or Stiletto (I've no real interest in the Husky)

...... kthinking at first that all the raked rear screened Coupé were Stilleto's.

........[([there are plenty of Imps for me to point my Camera at.

A great blank canvas for modifying - someone dropped a Honda Goldwing bike engine in the one above.

Adrian Flux Cult Classics published and easy read potted history.

The Imp Family have a bit of success in competition.

If anyone is considering selling there Imp, I've got up to £6k burning a hole in my pocket.
