In my opinion, Kammanufaktur can do no wrong.

The 912C is our flagship, created for those, who seek total immersion fascination behind the wheel.
This one, just put up on Instagram, and not yet on their website, in "in yer face" Orange, probably the best colour for a 912 (911) only amplifys my desire.
Sadly beyond my means, maybe one day...

The ADRO Special

I don't mind admitting, the appeal of the VSCC cars sits pretty much exclusively with the specials and the pure race cars. Be it the Cyclecars such as the numerous GN based specials, the modified Austin 7's, a Cooper 500 or an ERA for example. Add a JAP V Twin or an aero engine, whole or an offcut and I'm absolutely hooked.  This is current custodian, James Beddoes  ADRO Special  built by John Anderson. Based on a GN chassis of 1938 vintage and a 1920 JAP V twin, the ADRO Special fits the bill nicely. These are a few of my photo's from the VSCC Hillclimb at Loton Park on 19th July. BMW 700 Sport

BMW Group - Classic  only give the 700 Sport a few short sentences in their archive pages, which is a shame. The modern BMW Touring Cars owe their lineage to this diminutive little twin cylinder race car. The 700 became the first saloon car to wear the famed  CS designation , touring car dna. BMW introduced the 700 at the 1959 Frankfurt Motor Show, representing a change in direction compared to its contemporary Baroque Angel models that aspired to conquer the luxury market. The diminutive 700 compact car was the first BMW built with a steel monocoque structure and featured a rear-engine design, borrowed from the R67 motorcycle. A five-year production run that ended in 1965—with some 188,000 examples built—is credited for saving BMW from going bust after notably losing money on every 507 sold.

BMW 2002 Group 1 recreation

Sold by  Pendine , and raced at the 72nd  Goodwood Members Meeting  by the late, great  Jochen Mass . Simon Diffey, the brains behind ‘Gold Member’, acquired the restored rolling shell from BMW specialist BM Technika. Diffey wanted to build a 2002 to European Group One ‘all steel, all glass’ specification for himself and his son to race, creating a homage to the privateer BMW racers of the early 1970s. From bare metal, the shell was painted in a Warstiener livery that would have slotted into the grid at Spa in 1972. The engine came from Snitzer, with a reconditioned Lester Owen head from Historic BMW specialist Laranca. Mass Racing originally built the engine, and after a few seasons of racing have just completed a complete refresh. The gear box was rebuilt by JP Rave Boxes Rob Riding. The Don Lee Special - 1934 Alfa Romeo P3 Tipo B

The Don Lee Special, or more accurately, the 1934 Alfa Romeo P3 Tipo B, one of the Don Lee Specials. Shot at Goodwood, the 83rd Members Meeting during qualifying. I was very fortunate to be gifted a guest ticket by one of the competitors.  Designed by Vittorio Jano, powered by an 8-cylinder engine that was supercharged by two compressors producing up to 265 hp, depending on the specification. The differential was mounted directly behind the gearbox, so that the two drive shafts could be guided sideways past the driver to the rear. This allowed for a lower seating position and improved road holding. Weighing 680kg it is recognised as the first genuine single seat Grand Prix car. The P3 Tipo B, built from 1932 onwards, was the most successful racing car of the Milanese brand before the 2nd World War, driven in period by such racing legends as Rudolf Caracciola and Tazio Nuvolari.
